Mauldin Miracle League - Special!

Our cadets are always ready to help a great program, and there is none finer than the Miracle League in Mauldin, SC. This program enables children with physical handicaps to enjoy the game of baseball. It is a great confidence builder for many of them who suffer from spina-bifida and other physically confining conditions. Despite limitations, they enjoy baseball to its fullest with many volunteers who assist them. We are privileged to be part of this effort. Our color guard opened the games, and all were touched. Derrick Francis, Mick Perry, Ben Norris, and Ashleigh Sanford presented the colors, and John Burgdorf and Julia Lusk helped support the effort. It was something they will always remember - and they had some fun at the festival.
